3. HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
In addition to the use and disclosure of information which is required when you use our job related and data processing services (which we described above), we use your email address for sending you a confirmation of your subscription and job posting or to contact you in case of emergency for any reason directly linked to your job posting, or occasionally to inform you of new features on Globalsatwork.com. Our job posting confirmation and emails may contain banner advertising. We only use your phone number to contact you urgently if there is an emergency. In circumstances where you contact us with a query, we use your contact details in order to respond to your query.
When you consent to becoming a Globalsatwork.com subscriber, you also agree to receive newsletters, updates and other promotional messages from Globalsatwork.com. In the future the promotional messages may include details of related services of Globalsatwork.com which may be of interest to you. We gladly offer Globals the opportunity to review the jobs they have done through our website and rate them accordingly. Where you provide us with a review, we may include your review on our websites. Please keep these reviews sincere and respect the feelings and privacy of others. If you want to include information about yourself we rely upon it that you understand how our services work and are happy for that information to be shared. If you are unhappy that personal information about you has been included in one website or on our future forum, please let us know. Where reasonable and possible we will remove that information at the next practical opportunity.
5. MYGLOBALS ACCOUNT
When you sign up with Globalsatwork.com a MyGlobals account will automatically be created for you. MyGlobals is your personal page where you can view, change or modify your profile and job postings, give reviews about the jobs you have done and rate them. In the future we might create a MyGlobals work & travel social network, that allows you to connect with other workers as a Global, upload photos (we are always happy to receive your pictures by e-mail as well, we might even put them on our website) and share work & travel tips.
After signing up for Globalsatwork.com you will receive your MyGlobals username and password and a link to activate your account. You can change your password and personal details at any time by logging into your account.
Your profile settings in your MyGlobals account will automatically default to Private. You can modify this profile setting at any time by logging into your account. There are two types of profile settings available in MyGlobals: Private Access (your profile cannot be viewed by anyone) or Public Access (your profile can be viewed by everyone).
Where you have applied ‘Public Access’ to your MyGlobals account, any reviews that you submit will show your first name. Where you have applied ‘Private Access’ settings to your MyGlobals account, any reviews that you submit will appear as anonymous.
